Designing financial products where clarity is the hardest requirement.
I design for regulated financial products, the kind where a screen has to satisfy a stressed customer and the compliance team at the same time. Debt collection, retirement savings, enterprise access control. The interesting problem is almost never a happy path.
Over the past decade I have taken products from research through launch, working across consumer banking and enterprise platforms.
Three case studies below, and one in progress.

Designing user access provisioning for an enterprise financial platform
One wizard shell that absorbed two genuinely different backend sequences without ever exposing that difference to the administrator using it.

Designing the first student loan retirement benefit
A new category of workplace benefit with no infrastructure to build on, designed around a hard constraint and launched at 300% of projected enrollment.

Designing a collections experience that felt like support, not interrogation
Research showed embarrassment grew with debt and stopped people asking for help. That finding set the stance for every screen. Launched in the UK, then adopted across three more regions.

Three tier design system architecture
One design system serving three user populations that shared a brand but not a device, a density, or a job to be done. The architecture for separating their patterns without fracturing the system, rebuilt as a working Figma library.
